Two teenagers were seriously injured in Kherson as a result of a Russian attack

Russian forces have been continuously striking Kherson throughout the day using drones. As a result of one of the attacks, two teenagers were hospitalized in serious condition.

This was reported on the afternoon of May 2 by Yaroslav Shanko, head of the city’s military administration.

 

Around 12:30 p.m., the occupiers attacked a street in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. As a result, two boys, aged 15 and 17, were wounded.

Both were taken to the hospital in critical condition. The victims suffered blast injuries, closed head injuries, concussions, and shrapnel wounds. Doctors are currently fighting to save their lives.

As a reminder, a minibus was attacked again in Kherson, and the driver was wounded.

The number of casualties in Kherson following a Russian drone strike on a minibus has risen to nine people. Among the wounded is a medical worker who sustained serious injuries. Casualties continue to be identified and transported to hospitals.

Additionally, over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 857 strikes on the Zaporizhzhia region. Dozens of settlements came under fire. In the Zaporizhzhia district, three people were injured, and there is damage to homes and infrastructure. 

Additionally, in Kharkiv overnight, a Russian drone struck a high-rise building and flew directly into an apartment on the 12th floor. The munition did not explode, but two people were injured. Residents of the building were evacuated, and all emergency services were on the scene. 

On the night of May 2, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with over 160 drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but some drones still reached their targets. The attack continued into the morning, with enemy UAVs remaining in the air.
