In Kherson, a 51-year-old man was injured while attempting to take down a Russian drone on his own.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. in the Dnipro district of the city. As a result of the drone’s detonation, the man sustained shrapnel wounds to his head, abdomen, and chest, as well as a concussion, blast injury, and closed head injury.
The victim was hospitalized. According to medical personnel, his condition is assessed as moderate.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration once again urged residents not to touch suspicious objects and not to attempt to defuse explosive devices on their own.
Demining should be carried out exclusively by professional bomb disposal experts.
