In Kherson, a Russian drone pursued a local resident—who had come to the city to sell vegetables—for about a minute before dropping a munition on him. As a result of the attack, the man suffered a concussion, blast trauma, and multiple shrapnel wounds. According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, his life is not currently in danger.

This is Mr. Yuriy. He arrived in Kherson this morning to sell vegetables. His wife was with him. They had just begun setting out their goods when a Russian drone hovered overhead. His wife managed to run away. But the drone began a full-scale chase after Mr. Yuriy. For about a minute, it circled around the car, pursuing the man as he tried to escape, Prokudin reported, releasing a video showing the victim.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the person operating the drone had a clear view of his target. It was an ordinary man who had come to sell vegetables. But that didn’t stop the Russian scum. He deliberately aimed the munition directly at the man.
It’s a miracle that Mr. Yuriy survived. He suffered a concussion, blast trauma, and multiple shrapnel wounds. His life is no longer in danger. Our medical staff are doing everything necessary to ensure he recovers as quickly as possible,” Prokudin concluded.
