In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug of the Russian Federation, the Surgut Airport was closed for the first time due to a drone threat
On September 9, a drone attack threat was declared in Russia’s Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. As a result, the Surgut airport was closed for the first time, and local schools switched to remote learning.
Authorities imposed restrictions on the operations of five airports due to the threat of drone attacks.
The restrictions are in effect at the airports in Surgut, Igrima, Nyagan, Sovetsky, and Uray.
For students in the second shift, all educational institutions have announced a shift to remote learning today.
In the Sumy region, Russian troops carried out a series of strikes on civilian targets. An 83-year-old woman was killed in the attacks, and at least 16 other people were injured.
As a reminder, in the Kyiv region, fires broke out at industrial facilities due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
Later, rescue workers showed the aftermath of the strikes on Kyiv.
