Eight injured in Kyiv after Russian strike, two killed in Tula region
Eight people were injured in Kyiv on the morning of September 11 as a result of Russian airstrikes. A fire broke out in a nine-story residential building, Asharq Al-Awsat reports, citing the authorities.
Reuters footage shows rescuers extinguishing the fire in the high-rise building. A number of windows were blown out in the building.
Attacks on Kyiv
According to the outlet, Russia, the aggressor state, resumed nearly constant air attacks on Kyiv this week after a brief pause during the visit to Moscow and Kyiv by representatives of US President Donald Trump, who were trying to end the war launched by the Kremlin with its invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Ukraine says its strikes on Russian territory are part of a campaign aimed at raising the cost for Moscow of continuing the war. Both Russia and Ukraine deny striking civilians.

Reports of consequences in Russia
Tula region Governor Dmitry Milyayev said that two people were killed and three others were injured as a result of an overnight drone attack in the region.
Saratov region Governor Roman Busargin reported damage to civilian infrastructure in Saratov and said there were no casualties. Russian company Ozon said a fire broke out at its logistics center in Saratov after a drone attack.
In Volgograd, according to local authorities, a missile strike damaged two residential buildings, while debris also hit an industrial facility. Two people were injured, and a temporary accommodation center was set up at a school for residents of the damaged buildings. Reuters noted that it could not immediately independently verify these reports.
