In Kyiv, the death toll from the Russian attack has risen; 25 people were injured

Two people were killed and another 25 residents of the capital were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Kyiv. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

 

According to him, one of the injured died in the hospital, and another person was killed as a result of the attack.

As of 1:40 p.m., 17 of the injured are being treated in city hospitals.

The initial consequences of the Russian strikes on the capital became known this morning. In particular, in the Solomyanskyi district, debris from a drone fell between residential buildings.

Klitschko also reported damage to the capital’s civilian and transportation infrastructure. The full extent of the attack and the number of casualties may be subject to change.

Separately, a fire was reported at the “Shayba” market near the train station. According to “Ukrzaliznytsia,” the station building was not damaged.

Amid the strikes, passengers were urged to avoid Ukrzaliznytsia facilities.

Due to the heightened air threat, Kyiv City Express service was temporarily suspended in both directions this morning. “Ukrzaliznytsia” also reported that one of its employees was injured while returning home after his shift.

In addition, a Ukrnafta gas station in Kyiv was completely destroyed following a Russian attack.
