236 Civilians Killed in Kyiv from Russian Attacks Over Four Years of Full-Scale War

Today marks the fourth anniversary of the day Kyiv residents woke up to the first explosions of Russian missiles.

Since February 24, 2022, air raid alarms have sounded thousands of times, and the city has become a regular target of terrorist strikes by the aggressor country, which continues to wage war against the civilian population.

According to official data from the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office, 236 civilians have been killed in enemy attacks. Among the victims are at least 25 children whose lives were cut short by the occupiers’ strikes.

“Prosecutors and investigators document war crimes daily to ensure those responsible for civilian deaths are held accountable,” the office emphasized.

Currently, 225 criminal proceedings have been opened in Kyiv under violations of the laws and customs of war by Russian forces. Investigations have already identified specific individuals responsible for mass killings and destruction in the city. Four Russian generals, who directly ordered attacks on civilian and residential infrastructure in Kyiv, have been notified of suspicions.

Investigative actions continue without interruption, and the collected evidence will form the basis for future cases in international courts.

Earlier reports highlighted President Volodymyr Zelenskyy giving clear directives to the Ukrainian delegation in negotiations with Russia after four years of full-scale war, and for the first time showing his bunker office.
