A drone attack has left one of Mykolaiv's districts without power
Russian forces attacked Mykolaiv with strike drones. The strike damaged the city’s energy infrastructure, leaving one of its districts without power.
Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych reported this on Telegram.
"Residents of Mykolaiv, due to an enemy drone attack, part of the Korabelny district is currently without power. The city is functioning normally. The situation is under control," Senkevich wrote.
In turn, Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, clarified that the enemy attacked the region’s energy infrastructure with a “Shahed” drone. Some residents of the Mykolaiv district are without power. Restoration work is underway. As of now, there are no casualties.
As a reminder, over 700 settlements in Ukraine have lost power due to severe weather, and there have been fatalities.
In the Kyiv region, strong winds have knocked out 30 power lines.
Severe weatherin Romania has caused damage to homes, and there is one fatality.
