Russia is threatening to intensify its strikes on Kyiv following the attacks on Moscow
The Russian Ministry of Defense threatened to intensify strikes on Kyiv, allegedly in response to Ukrainian attacks on Moscow on September 20 and on civilian infrastructure.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that it plans to strike Ukrainian military facilities in Kyiv and claims that the attempted attack on Moscow allegedly failed. In addition, the occupiers claimed to have shot down 1,951 Ukrainian drones and eight cruise missiles over the past 24 hours.

On the night of September 20, the Ukrainian military struck the Moscow oil refinery in the Kapotnya area. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the strike and stated that one of Russia’s key oil industry facilities had been destroyed. The General Staff reported that a large-scale fire broke out at the plant following the attack.
