More than 50 facilities were damaged in Zaporizhzhia as a result of a nighttime attack by the Russian Federation
In the Oleksandrivskyi District of Zaporizhzhia, more than 50 civilian structures were damaged as a result of a Russian nighttime attack on September 20, including 30 high-rise buildings, nine private homes, a kindergarten, and more than 10 non-residential buildings. This was reported by Regina Kharchenko, secretary of the Zaporizhzhia City Council.
According to her, in the two high-rise buildings that sustained the most damage, 38 apartments were deemed uninhabitable. The city has registered 348 residents whose property was damaged, and more than 280 people have already received consultations regarding payments under the “eRecovery” program. More than 180 specialists and approximately 55 pieces of equipment have been deployed to address the aftermath, and utility and emergency repair work is ongoing.
