Strikes by Russia, the aggressor state, in Ukraine: at least four killed
Russia, the aggressor state, carried out a series of strikes on Ukraine, killing at least four people and injuring dozens more. Deutsche Welle reports, citing Ukrainian officials and the company ArcelorMittal.
Dead and injured
According to the Ukrainian authorities, two people were killed in the Zaporizhzhia region. ArcelorMittal reported that two more people were killed at its facility in Kryvyi Rih.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that 37 people were injured in a Russian strike on an apartment building in Odesa. Rescuers were searching for two missing people.
According to the president, ten regions of Ukraine came under attack overnight, while Russian strike drones continued flying over many of them.

Strikes on enterprises in Russia
Zelenskyy also reported Ukrainian strikes on chemical enterprises in Perm Krai in the Urals and in Russia's Samara region. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a fire at a rubber plant in Tolyatti, Samara region. According to the General Staff, the enterprise produces synthetic rubber important for tactical and ballistic missiles.
Tolyatti Mayor Ilya Sukhikh said that one person was hospitalized after a massive attack on the city, while several multi-storey residential buildings were damaged.
The Kremlin's position on the meeting
In an interview with Deutsche Welle, Zelenskyy said he was ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 summit in Miami in December. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow had not yet decided whether Putin would travel to Miami and reiterated the Russian side's position: for a meeting, the Ukrainian president must come to Moscow.
