Ukrainian defenders repelled 120 enemy assaults and fended off dozens of attacks

The Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to steadfastly repel the massive offensive by the occupying forces, recording 120 combat engagements over the past 24 hours.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy is actively using aviation and artillery in an attempt to break through Ukrainian defenses in key sectors of the front.

According to updated data, the invaders carried out 58 airstrikes, using 184 guided bombs to bombard positions.

In addition, the aggressor carried out nearly 3,000 shelling attacks on populated areas, actively using multiple launch rocket systems.

A record number of drones posed a particular threat, as the enemy deployed over 8,000 kamikaze drones.

Despite such massive technical pressure, the Ukrainian military continues to inflict effective fire damage on the enemy.

As of the morning of April 12, an increase in the intensity of fighting was recorded, including 28 new assault operations.

The aggressor’s primary tools remain “Lancet” and “Molniya” drones, as well as the widespread use of FPV drones.

The situation remains most tense in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk directions, where over 40 attacks have been recorded.

Our defenders successfully halted the occupiers’ advance in the areas of Myrnohrad, Kostiantynivka, and surrounding settlements.

In the Lyman and Sloviansk sectors, the enemy made a series of attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses near Zarichne and Platonivka.

However, all of the aggressor’s offensive actions were detected in time and halted by units of the Defense Forces.

Ukrainian aviation demonstrated high effectiveness, striking three areas where the occupiers’ manpower and equipment were concentrated. Two drone control centers were also destroyed, significantly weakening the coordination of the enemy’s air attacks.

On the southern sections of the front, particularly in the Dnipro direction, the enemy attempted to advance toward the Antonivsky Bridge. These efforts proved futile, as Ukrainian troops fully control the situation along the river lines.

Ukrainian defenders are carrying out successful counterattacks, making advances in the Donetsk region and in the Huliaipole area of Zaporizhzhia.

On Saturday, April 11, three civilians were killed as a result of the Russian Federation’s armed aggression in the Donetsk and Kherson regions.
