This morning, March 27, the Russian military launched an attack using a strike drone against a children’s hospital in the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. A “Molniya”-type drone crashed through one of the windows but did not explode; there were no casualties.
The Kherson Regional Police reported this on Telegram.
Explosive ordnance disposal experts from the Kherson Regional Police quickly arrived at the scene, examined the remains of the drone and the explosive device, which was made from an anti-tank mine. The dangerous find was removed for destruction at a special site.
Law enforcement officials are documenting this incident as yet another war crime committed by the aggressor country’s army. Russian troops have recently been increasingly using “Molniya” strike UAVs against the civilian population of the Kherson region.
The day before, Russian troops launched an attack with an FPV drone on the town of Semenivka in the Chernihiv region.
Additionally, the occupiers have advanced near Hryshyne and Riznykivka in the Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian Air Force warned of high activity by Russian drones.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces also thwarted a Russian offensive planned for March.
