Peskov tried to justify Russia's strikes on Ukraine and threatened new attacks
Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Russian dictator, attempted to justify Russia’s strikes on Ukraine by claiming they were in response to attacks on Russia’s economic and trade infrastructure.
The Kremlin is once again trying to portray the strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure as a “response” to attacks on targets within Russian territory. At the same time, Peskov issued new threats against Ukraine.

Such threats are part of the Kremlin’s standard rhetoric. Peskov had previously threatened Ukraine over attacks on Ozon logistics centers and the UK’s decision regarding Storm Shadow, in an attempt to justify further Russian strikes.
It should be noted that Ukraine has repeatedly emphasized that it is striking targets linked to the supply of the Russian army and the conduct of the war against Ukraine. Unlike Russia, which systematically attacks residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure, Ukrainian strikes are directed at military facilities and infrastructure serving the Russian military-industrial complex.
