A woman was injured in Ochakiv following an attack by a Russian UAV

A 48-year-old woman was injured when a Russian drone struck Ochakiv; medical personnel hospitalized her. The attack damaged a non-residential building and caused a fire in a two-story building and a passenger car.

Cleanup efforts were complicated by the security situation: emergency responders had to temporarily suspend work due to the threat of further shelling. Despite the risk, firefighters fully extinguished the blaze.

As a reminder, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skelya” confirmed that two Ukrainian soldiers who appeared in a video released by Russian propagandists were taken prisoner during the fighting in Kostiantynivka. The unit emphasized that this does not mean the city has been lost or that the operation has failed, and stated that they will work to bring their fighters home.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has failed to meet its recruitment target for the newly formed Unmanned Systems Forces. Analysts cite an unsuccessful campaign to recruit students—on whom the Kremlin had placed its main hopes—as one of the main reasons.
