In Odesa, an FSB agent spying on the city’s energy facilities was detained
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) conducted a successful special operation in Odesa, detaining another accomplice of the aggressor.
This was reported by the SBU press service.
The suspect was involved in preparing new Russian airstrikes against critical energy infrastructure in the regional center.
The main task of the agent was to identify and relay precise coordinates of small transformer substations in residential districts of the city. Additionally, FSB handlers were interested in high-voltage facilities that ensure stable electricity supply for the entire city of Odesa.
According to the investigation, the detainee is a 48-year-old local unemployed woman. Russian intelligence services recruited her through a Telegram channel where she was looking for “easy earnings” opportunities.
To gather intelligence, the woman used public transport to travel across different districts of the city. She secretly filmed energy facility sites with her smartphone, paying special attention to infrastructure details.
In addition to scouting new targets, the agent conducted reconnaissance of previously attacked facilities. She inspected the perimeters of electrical substations to document the aftermath of recent strikes and assess the technical condition of damaged equipment.
In Zaporizhzhia, an attorney was detained for selling fake military summons and “immunity.” Additionally, in Donetsk, a Ukrzaliznytsia employee spying for Russia was apprehended.
