The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported 112 attacks by the aggressor as of 4:00 p.m. on April 24, 2026, with the heaviest fighting continuing in the Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka sectors. The occupiers continue to shell the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, as well as use aviation to strike settlements in the rear and along the line of contact.

In the Pokrovsk direction, 46 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian troops from their positions were recorded, while in the Kostyantynivka direction, Russian forces carried out 17 attacks. In the Lyman direction, defenders repelled 13 assaults, but fighting continues toward Hrekivka and Lyman, as do active clashes on the Kupiansk and Kramatorsk sections of the front. The enemy is also attempting to improve its position in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector and is conducting assault operations in the areas of Bilohrudy Island and the Antonivsky Bridge.
Ukrainian troops continue to wear down Russian forces along the entire line of contact, despite the enemy’s constant attempts to advance. In the Orikhiv and Huliaipole sectors, numerous airstrikes on civilian infrastructure and defenders’ positions have been recorded. The situation remains under control, and in the Sloviansk and other sectors, no significant changes in the situation or new offensive attempts have been detected so far. The command emphasizes the importance of destroying the aggressor’s reserves in the rear areas.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Federation’s army lost approximately 910 soldiers in the past 24 hours alone. Total estimated losses of Russian forces since the start of the full-scale invasion, as of April 24, 2026, are estimated at 1,323,460 personnel.
Ukrainian drones destroyed three Russian anti-aircraft missile systems in a single night in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The “Tor-M2” and “Osa” systems were hit and were unable to effectively repel the attack.
