Since the start of the day, 28 assaults by Russian forces have been recorded on the front lines
Since the start of the day on June 24, the Russian Federation’s army has carried out 28 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces across various sections of the front. In addition, the occupying forces continue to intensively shell Ukrainian border areas.
A number of settlements in the Sumy region came under enemy artillery fire, including Neskuchne, Rozhkovychi, Korenok, Potapivka, Gavrilova Sloboda, Volfyne, Starykove, Sopych, Bachivsk, Budky, Ryzhivka, Bunyakine, and Kozache. In addition, Russian invaders deployed combat aircraft to strike the areas of Yampil and Tovstodubove.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Russians shelled populated areas and the positions of Ukraine’s defenders 18 times.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the Russian Federation’s army attempted twice to break through the defenses in the areas of Veterinarny and Synelnykove. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions once today in the direction of Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, defenders repelled seven attempts by Russian troops to advance toward Shyikivka, Drobyshove, Lyman, and Ozerny. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully halted three enemy attempts to advance near Zakytne, Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Russians have not yet launched any offensive operations today.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six attacks by the Russian army near Ivanopil and Illinivka, toward Kostiantynivka. One engagement is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk sector, since the start of the day, Russian forces have attempted five times to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions. Twenty-two attacks were repelled in the areas of Sukhetske, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, and Filiya.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the invaders have not yet launched any offensive operations today.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian forces repelled four enemy attacks toward Hirky and Charivne. Two firefights are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, the Russian army did not attempt any advances.
