Video: Aerial reconnaissance units destroyed a cache of motorcycles belonging to Russian assault troops
Ukrainian aerial reconnaissance units discovered a Russian military cache in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna sector and, using FPV drones, destroyed seven of the occupiers’ motorcycles.
According to military officials, the hideout was discovered during an aerial reconnaissance mission by soldiers from the “Strix” Unmanned Systems Battalion.
Following this, FPV drones were used to strike the enemy’s vehicles.
As a result of the attack, seven motorcycles that the Russian military had hidden in a forest strip were destroyed.
The 47th Mechanized Brigade speculated that the destroyed vehicles may have belonged to a Russian assault group that was preparing for a combat operation at night or in the early morning.
“As they say in the ‘Strix’ BBC, this could have been an assault group that was presumably supposed to carry out an assault at night or in the morning. In other words, it could have been an assault by 7–14 Russians. But the 47th Mechanized Brigade wiped them out,” reads the brigade’s comment on the released footage.
Thus, the strike on the motorcycles may have deprived the Russian assault troops of the vehicles needed to carry out the attack. At the same time, the brigade does not provide information on the exact number of personnel who were supposed to use this equipment.
