VIDEO: A National Guard soldier spent 146 days surrounded in the Pokrovsk area
A scout from the Ukrainian National Guard’s 14th Special Operations Brigade “Chervona Kalyna,” with the call sign “Greek,” held his position in Rodynske on the Pokrovsk sector for nearly five months, while effectively surrounded by Russian troops.
According to the soldier, Russian units were located just a few dozen meters from Ukrainian positions: approximately 50 meters to the left, 100 meters to the right, and 30 meters behind.
“Greek” said that, together with his comrades, he defended the city for 146 days, repelling attacks by the enemy, who actively used drones, aerial bombs, and even kamikaze infantrymen.
According to the soldier, the withdrawal from their positions took nearly two weeks.
