Video: Paratroopers destroy large enemy drone warehouse in Kursk region

Operators of strike unmanned aerial vehicles from the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a successful operation on the territory of the Russian Federation.

The successful completion of the combat mission was officially reported by the brigade’s press service on its Telegram channel, publishing relevant video evidence. As a result of precise strikes in Kursk region, a strategically important enemy warehouse was completely destroyed.

“We destroyed a large warehouse of ammunition, drones and light vehicles on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the servicemen stated.

Ukrainian defenders continue to effectively protect the Sumy region, carrying out preventive strikes against the enemy’s logistical hubs on its own territory. The main objective of such operations is to significantly reduce the assault potential of Russian occupation forces by destroying their supply infrastructure.

At the destroyed site, the enemy had concentrated a significant number of reconnaissance and strike drones, as well as specialised equipment for them. In addition to unmanned systems, ammunition stockpiles and light vehicles used by UAV crews were also hit.

The military emphasised that concentrating such a large amount of resources in one location proved to be a fatal mistake by the Russian command.

“The enemy believed that nothing threatened it on its own territory, but forgot that such a concentration of valuable resources equals their destruction,” the paratroopers concluded.

The destruction of this warehouse will significantly limit Russia’s ability to conduct aerial reconnaissance and carry out strikes on Ukrainian positions in this direction. The loss of a large batch of equipment and vehicles is also expected to demoralise personnel of enemy aerial reconnaissance units.

Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported regaining control of more than 300 square kilometres in the south, according to military officials.

The Ukrainian military also struck enemy ships, aircraft and multiple launch rocket systems in temporarily occupied territories.
