Video: A Ghost crew shot down a Russian Outpost over the Kyiv region
A Ukrainian "Primar" crew used a STING interceptor to shoot down a Russian "Forpost" reconnaissance drone in the skies over the Kyiv region. This was reported by Censor.NET on May 23.
Soldiers from the "SIMARGL" interceptor unit of the Anti-Aircraft Missile and Artillery Division destroyed a Russian "Forpost"-type reconnaissance drone in the skies over the Kyiv region.
The pilot of the “Primar” crew, call sign “Dos,” initially detected the enemy UAV acoustically, after which Ukrainian defenders quickly launched a STING interceptor drone from the “Wild Hornets.”
Thanks to the crew’s coordinated actions, the aerial target, which was flying at an unusually low altitude, was successfully intercepted and neutralized. It is also noted that the estimated market value of such a drone is approximately $7.5 million.
