VIDEO: FPV drones attacked a unit of the Ukrainian Forest Service in the Sumy region
Over the weekend, Russian FPV drones attacked facilities belonging to the Shostka Forest District of the State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” in the border areas of Sumy Oblast on two occasions.
As a result of the first attack, three FPV drones struck the administrative building of the former Svesky Forestry Enterprise. The fire caused critical damage to the building.
The following day, Russian forces launched a second strike. Two FPV drones attacked the unit’s garages, resulting in a fire that destroyed three service vehicles.
According to the enterprise, no employees were injured during either attack.
The State Enterprise “Forests of Ukraine” noted that this is not the first unit on the border to suffer damage from Russian shelling. Due to the constant danger and proximity to the border, it is currently impossible to repair the damaged buildings.
The enterprise emphasized that despite constant shelling, explosions, and threats to their lives, foresters in the Sumy region continue to perform their duties.
