Video: Partisans disrupted the supply of Russian troops with a sabotage operation on the railroad
Ukrainian partisans reported a successful sabotage operation on the Russian railway, which disabled the relay cabinets that controlled the movement of military trains. According to their reports, the attack disrupted the logistics of the occupying forces and temporarily hampered the movement of equipment and personnel.
On Wednesday, July 8, the “ATESH” partisan movement announced a sabotage operation targeting railway infrastructure in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, which, they said, led to disruptions in supplies to Russian troops.
According to the movement, agents disabled relay cabinets at the Millerovo and Bila Kalytva railway stations. It is claimed that these hubs are used to transport reserves, military equipment, and artillery ammunition, which are then directed toward the Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, and Kostyantynivka areas.
Damage to the equipment disrupted the operation of automated systems, causing delays in the schedule of military convoys approaching the main logistics hub in Rostov-on-Don. Partisans claim that such delays complicate the Russian army’s logistics and force the Russian command to change supply routes, causing them to lose time.
“We continue to monitor the movement of cargo and identify vulnerabilities in the Russian military machine,” the post added.
As a reminder, the Russian army’s losses over the past 24 hours totaled 1,310 soldiers, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The occupiers attacked Kostiantynivka with incendiary munitions and caused a rain of phosphorus.
