Video: Russia Dropped Airstrikes on Slovyansk
On the morning of August 26, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region; explosions were heard in the city center. According to preliminary reports, the occupiers may have used guided bombs; information about casualties is still being verified.
Vadym Lyakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, reported this on Facebook and shared relevant videos and photos.
According to him, at 4:20 a.m., the enemy launched an attack, likely using guided bombs. Explosions were heard in the central part of the city.
“We are currently gathering all information about the casualties,” Lyakh said.
As a reminder, Russia attacked Chernihiv with drones, wounding two children.
In the Chernihiv region and in Slavutych, 30,000 customers were left without power following the Russian attack.
As a reminder, on August 23, Russian forces attacked a train station in the Kharkiv region with a drone while a passenger train evacuating people was stopped. Two women were killed in the strike, and five others were injured.
On August 23, Russian terrorist forces attacked Ukraine’s railway infrastructure five times. One person was killed and four others were injured as a result of the strikes.
On August 23, Russian forces attacked the locomotive of passenger train No. 147 on the Zhytomyr–Odesa route with a jet-powered drone. The train was stopped and passengers evacuated before the strike, so neither passengers nor railway workers were harmed.
