Video: Russians Have Been Waiting in Line for Fuel for Five Days Now

Fuel supply problems continue in Russia. A video has surfaced online showing lines of cars at a gas station where, according to eyewitnesses, there has been no gasoline for five days now.

The video was published by the Telegram channel Exilenova+. In the video, the person who recorded it claims that drivers continue to wait in line in the hope that a fuel truck will arrive at the gas station soon and gasoline will become available.

The footage shows dozens of cars waiting at the gas station. The post does not specify exactly when or in which region of Russia the video was filmed.

“It’s a nightmare—no gas for five days, but people are still waiting in hope. We were there two hours ago,” the video’s author comments.

The authors of the post did not specify where or when the video was recorded. No official comments on the situation have been received so far.

As a reminder, in early July, Russia’s production of automotive gasoline fell to 65% of domestic consumption levels due to the shutdown of major oil refineries following drone attacks.

Ukraine announced that it had struck 19 Russian tankers carrying fuel for Crimea.
