VIDEO: Russian Woman Complains About Gasoline Shortages and Traffic Gridlock in Crimea
A Russian citizen who had been living in the temporarily occupied Crimea announced her decision to return to Moscow due to the deteriorating situation on the peninsula.
According to her, there has been a gasoline shortage in Crimea for quite some time, prices have skyrocketed, and logistics have faced serious problems. She also reported that passenger train service has been suspended and there are major traffic jams on the Kerch Bridge.
“There hasn’t been any gasoline for quite some time now. We decided to return to Moscow. Logistics are suffering greatly, and everything is very expensive,” the woman said.
She noted that her family is currently trying to evacuate their belongings and pets from the occupied peninsula.
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, fuel shortages could escalate into a much more serious crisis. Due to logistical difficulties on the peninsula, prices have already begun to rise, lines are forming, and residents are actively stocking up on essential goods.
The shortage of automotive fuel, which was previously observed in the temporarily occupied Crimea, has begun to spread to the southern regions of the Russian Federation. Residents of the Krasnodar Krai and the Rostov Oblast are reporting shortages of gasoline and diesel fuel.
