Video: A Russian occupier tried to shoot down a Ukrainian drone with an automatic rifle before he was killed
Ukrainian operators of attack UAVs killed a Russian soldier in open terrain, despite his attempt in the final seconds to open fire on the drone. Footage from the operation was released by the Ukrainian military.
Footage of combat operations by pilots from the “Wormbusters” unit, part of the 414th Separate Brigade of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF), has been published online.
The released video shows a Russian occupier running across a field as a Ukrainian FPV drone approaches, desperately trying to shoot down the drone with an automatic weapon.
When the drone flew right up close, the Russian soldier likely ran out of ammunition, and moments before his death, he threw his assault rifle directly at the UAV. However, this did not save the invader.
