Video: All fires in Kyiv have been extinguished following the Russian Federation's nighttime attack

In Kyiv, rescue workers have extinguished all fires that broke out as a result of the nighttime attack by Russian forces on August 5. This was reported by the State Emergency Service. Work is currently underway to address the aftermath of the strike and assess the damage to affected facilities.

 

“Kyiv: Rescue workers have extinguished all fires caused by the Russian strike in the Obolonskyi, Sviatoshynskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Desnianskyi districts of the city,” the statement reads.

The State Emergency Service noted that one person was killed and 15 others were injured as a result of the attack.

A total of 680 rescue workers and 140 pieces of State Emergency Service equipment were deployed to the sites. Work is ongoing to clear debris and extinguish fires in the destroyed structures.
