Drone attack halts operations at Rosneft's Saratov refinery — Reuters

Rosneft’s Saratov oil refinery has halted oil processing following a drone attack. According to Reuters, the cause was damage to production facilities and fires that broke out as a result of the strike.

According to the agency’s sources, the plant—which has an annual capacity of about 7 million metric tons of crude oil—has shut down its sole primary refining unit, AVT-6.

Due to the production shutdown, the refinery has also suspended fuel sales on the St. Petersburg Exchange. The facility produces over 1 million metric tons of gasoline and nearly 2 million metric tons of diesel fuel annually.

Repair work could take two to three weeks.

This was reported by Reuters.

As a reminder, Ukrainian strike drones have begun systematically targeting major logistics centers belonging to Wildberries, Russia’s largest marketplace. Over the past two weeks, at least 10 of the company’s warehouses have come under attack, resulting in significant losses for both the platform itself and Russian businesses.

About 1,500 sellers on the Russian marketplace Wildberries lost their goods as a result of a fire at a warehouse in the Leningrad Region following an attack by Ukrainian drones. This was stated by the region’s governor, Oleksandr Drozdhenko.
