Video: Zelenskyy Reports New Strikes on Russia's Oil Infrastructure
On the night of July 9, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of Russian oil infrastructure facilities that supply fuel to the Kremlin’s military machine.
According to the head of state, Ukrainian drones struck two oil depots—“Chervona Zoria” in the Tver Region and “Stavropolskaya” in the Stavropol Krai. As noted by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), large-scale fires broke out at the facilities following the strikes.
In addition, the Ukrainian military attacked a reserve facility for the accumulation and storage of fuel, located approximately 800 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
Also, according to Zelenskyy, an oil pumping station in Ufa—located nearly 1,500 kilometers from the Ukrainian border—was struck, as was an oil loading terminal in the Rostov region.
“I thank all our soldiers who make such results possible every day. We have long called on Russia to end this war, and every day of delay should bring the reality of war back to where it all began—in Russia,” the president wrote.
This was reported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the Security Service of Ukraine.
As a reminder, a fire broke out in Crimea at Russian air defense positions near Kerch.
Russian air defense forces accidentally shot down one of their own Ka-52 helicopters, worth $16 million.
Strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have undermined the sense of security in Russia’s rear.
