Russian forces have been attacking Naftogaz's gas production facilities for the second day in a row
For the second day in a row, Russian forces have been striking Naftogaz Group gas production facilities in the Poltava, Kharkiv, and Sumy regions.
Attacks using various types of drones, including rocket-powered ones, have been ongoing almost continuously since yesterday morning and have caused some equipment to shut down.
Serhiy Koretskyi, Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, called these actions a targeted attack on Ukrainian gas production and an attempt to disrupt the country’s preparations for winter. Thanks to timely safety measures, no facility workers were injured. At this time, it is impossible to determine the full extent of the damage, so experts will begin a detailed assessment of the consequences as soon as the security situation allows.
This was reported by the Naftogaz Group on July 4.
