Russian troops are stranded at their positions without food or water due to logistical problems, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate
Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation between Russian Armed Forces servicemen complaining about critical problems with food and water supplies at their positions. This indicates serious difficulties with the logistical support of Russian units.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram.
“In a new interception of the occupiers’ conversations—a catastrophic situation with logistical support,” the message reads.
In the intercepted conversation, one of the Russian soldiers states that he has not had access to food and water for a long time, while his interlocutor tries to calm him down. At the same time, as noted by the Main Intelligence Directorate, even these words do not change the situation at the front lines.
“The leader’s words do nothing to encourage the occupier at the front lines, who understands that it’s all a deception,” intelligence reported.
The GUR also noted that Russian infantry lacks adequate means of delivering supplies to the front lines, and any attempts at resupply are systematically thwarted and destroyed by Ukrainian forces.
The Russian military command continues to attempt to expand the occupation zone and reach the administrative borders of new regions.
Ukrainian defense forces are adjusting military training to effectively counter enemy drones and modern threats on the battlefield.
