The first semifinal matchup for the 2026 World Cup has been determined

The first semifinal matchup has been set for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The national teams of France and Spain will compete for a spot in the World Cup final.

The France vs. Spain match will take place on July 14. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 p.m. Kyiv time.

The 2026 World Cup is being held simultaneously in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This year’s tournament is historic, as it is the first time 48 national teams are participating.

The World Cup final is scheduled for July 19, after which the new world soccer champion will be crowned.

The day before, the first semifinalist was determined at the World Cup. The French national team confidently defeated Morocco 2–0 and became the first to secure a spot among the tournament’s top four teams.

Meanwhile, FIFA has decided to sell fans pieces of turf from the stadium that will host the 2026 World Cup final. Prices will start at $450, and the most expensive collector’s sets will cost up to $3,000.
