In Dnipro, 16 high-rise buildings were damaged as a result of a nighttime attack by Russia, Mayor Boris Filatov reported. The strike shattered about 500 windows in the buildings and also damaged a high school and a swimming pool.

According to him, experts will continue to conduct additional inspections of the damaged buildings.

In addition, several grocery stores and a swimming pool were destroyed as a result of the attack.

“A total of 16 high-rise buildings were damaged in Dnipro as a result of the Russian Federation’s nighttime attack. About 500 windows were shattered in the buildings, though experts will conduct further inspections. In addition, one of the high schools, several grocery stores, and a swimming pool were destroyed,” the mayor emphasized on Wednesday morning.

City services and volunteers have been working at the site since early this morning. A command center has been set up at the Central Administration of the City Council, where residents are being helped to file applications for state aid under the “eRecovery” program.

“Thank you to everyone who has stayed by people’s sides after a difficult night. The only good news amid all this horror is that there were no casualties,” Filatov noted.

As a reminder, at least two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the nighttime attack.

Russia struck Zaporizhzhia’s transportation infrastructure.
