The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck a Russian airfield and UAV command posts in the occupied territories and in Russia — General Staff
Throughout October 6 and into the night of October 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out strikes against a number of Russian military facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In particular, the Ukrainian military struck the “Seshcha” airfield in the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
Also in the Bryansk region, near Hrynovoye, a Russian electronic warfare station was struck, and a radar station was struck near Elionka.
In the Donetsk area, Ukrainian forces struck a facility used by Russian occupiers for the storage, preparation, and launch of attack drones.
In addition, strikes were carried out against enemy UAV command posts in the Bilotserkivka and Kamianka areas of the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as against a command and observation post in the Hirnyk area of the Donetsk region.
In the areas of Ukrainka and Kurakhivka in the Donetsk region, command and observation posts of Russian troops were struck.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Oblast, near Krynychne, a Russian unit’s logistics depot was struck, and in the Kondryuche area, a fuel and lubricants depot was struck.
The General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to strike enemy military targets.
Russian troops are advancing in the Pokrovsk district of Donetsk Oblast.
Over the past day, 202 combat engagements took place on the front lines. The highest number of Russian assaults was recorded in the Pokrovsk direction—27 attacks, all of which were repelled by Ukrainian forces.
On October 7, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated its data on Russian military losses in the war against Ukraine. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders eliminated 1,690 invaders.
