The enemy has intensified its offensive in the Huliaipole sector

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian troops have significantly intensified their offensive operations. Between 25 and 30 combat engagements are recorded here daily, and the situation is most tense near Dobropillia.

According to Vladislav Voloshin, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces, despite the occupiers’ constant attempts to advance, Ukrainian defenders are holding back the offensive and preventing the enemy from succeeding.

“In the Huliaipole sector, the enemy engages in a fairly large number of combat clashes every day. We’re taking stock and reporting 25–30 clashes; here, the enemy isn’t letting up and continues to try to seize territory, launch attacks, and advance deeper into our territory, but they’re not succeeding,” Voloshin noted.

The spokesperson reported that the most severe situation has developed near Dobropillia, where Russian troops are advancing toward Vozdvizhivka and Kosivtseve. Active combat operations are also ongoing south of Huliaipole, in the Charivne area. There, the occupiers are attempting to advance toward Verkhnia Tersa, Novosilka, and Omelnyk.

In addition, according to Voloshin, on the Oleksandrivka front, the Russian army is redeploying reserves and artillery to conduct defensive operations. Ukrainian intelligence is reporting mainly small-arms firefights rather than large-scale assaults.

The spokesperson also reported that, according to intelligence, the command of the 80th Tank Regiment of the Russian Federation’s 90th Tank Division received disciplinary sanctions for providing false information about the situation on the front lines.

Voloshin made these remarks on July 10 during a televised marathon, according to Ukrinform.

As a reminder, Russian troops have stepped up their activities in the Orikhiv sector of the Zaporizhzhia region and may take advantage of deteriorating weather conditions to deploy sabotage and reconnaissance groups closer to Orikhiv.

In the Dnipro sector, Russian occupation forces are facing a critical shortage of fuel and lubricants.

Russian troops are rotating their offensive forces in southern Ukraine, which may indicate an intention to intensify combat operations during the summer.
