A ROSHEN warehouse in Chubynske was destroyed in a massive attack by Russia

On the morning of August 27, a ROSHEN warehouse in Chubynske was destroyed as a result of a massive Russian attack. The facility was used to store and subsequently distribute finished confectionery products.

No employees were injured as a result of the strike. Thanks to adherence to safety protocols and a swift response to the air raid alert, all employees took shelter in time. Currently, State Emergency Service units are working at the site to clean up the aftermath of the attack and assess the damage.

This is the second attack on ROSHEN’s storage facilities since the full-scale invasion began—in February, a finished goods warehouse in Yahotyn was destroyed. The current attack has also resulted in significant material losses, particularly the loss of products, so temporary disruptions in the supply of certain goods are possible in the near future.

At the same time, the experience gained from recovering from the previous attack has allowed us to develop contingency plans and refine mechanisms for rapidly reorganizing our logistics. The team is already working on reallocating inventory and securing alternative warehouse space to minimize potential disruptions and their impact on our partners and customers.

We thank the rescue workers and all emergency services operating on site.

The company announced this on its website.

Roshen is preparing to enter the British market, which has a potential worth billions.

Additionally, a fierce scandal erupted around the well-known Roshen confectionery chain in the run-up to the Easter holidays due to the company’s pricing policy.
