Russia's losses have outpaced the pace of mobilization, says Fedorov
Russian troop losses have reached a record high and exceeded their monthly mobilization rate.
This was stated by Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov following a meeting with members of the Bundestag’s Committee on Security and Defense.
“We presented an approach to waging war in three domains—air, land, and economy. I provided data showing that on the battlefield, we are not only holding our positions but also increasing the pressure. Russia’s losses have reached record levels, exceeding their monthly mobilization rate,” he noted.
According to the minister, these results were achieved through systematic efforts—ranging from the implementation of innovations to effective resource management and the development of technological capabilities.
Fedorov also thanked Germany for supporting key areas of Ukraine’s defense, particularly for assistance in strengthening air defense, supplying long-range munitions, and developing drone capabilities.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian units suffered significant losses following strikes by Ukrainian drones on a narrow section of road across the dam. A video has appeared online showing destroyed equipment and the aftermath of the fighting.
Also in March, Ukrainian forces regained control of approximately 50 square kilometers of territory previously occupied by Russian troops and continued active defense along the entire front line.
Additionally, on the morning of April 15, Ukrainian “Luty” strike drones attacked a petrochemical plant in the city of Sterlitamak, located in the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russian Federation.
In Sterlitamak, Bashkortostan—one of the centers of the Russian Federation’s chemical and petrochemical industries—an attack was recorded on facilities that may be linked to the production of components for military equipment.
