Another 24 Ukrainian children have been returned from the occupied territories

Another 24 children and teenagers were successfully evacuated from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Their return took place as part of the presidential initiative “Bring Kids Back UA.”

Among those rescued was a 13-year-old girl who had suffered a shrapnel wound. According to the bureau, she was denied medical care while under occupation, and the occupying authorities threatened to separate the child from her mother due to the lack of Russian documents.

They also managed to evacuate a 17-year-old boy who survived the flooding that followed the Russian military’s bombing of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Another person rescued was a 19-year-old young man whose home was destroyed by a Russian missile strike. Afterward, he faced pressure at a college in the occupied territory, and despite health issues, he received a draft notice to join the Russian army.

Currently, all evacuated children and adolescents are undergoing reintegration at specialized centers. They are receiving psychological, medical, and social assistance, as well as the necessary support from specialists.
