Over the past 24 hours, there were 219 combat engagements; the enemy deployed 6,600 drones

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled hundreds of attacks by Russian occupiers across various sections of the front. The heaviest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk direction, and overall, the Russian army deployed more than 6,600 drones and dropped nearly 160 guided bombs.

 

According to military reports, 219 combat engagements took place on the front lines since the start of the day. The Russian army carried out 51 airstrikes, using 158 guided bombs. In addition, the occupiers deployed 6,640 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,035 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas.

Two combat engagements took place in the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors. The enemy also carried out 44 shelling attacks, including two using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy made seven attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Staritsa, Lyman, Artilne, and in the direction of Khatne.

In the Kupiansk sector, one attack was recorded—the occupiers attempted to advance toward Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled nine assaults near Yampil, Nadiya, Novoselivka, and in the directions of Borova, Lyman, Ozerny, and Dibrova. Two more battles were ongoing at the time this report was released.

In the Sloviansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled 23 attacks by Russian troops. Fighting took place near Kryva Luka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, and Zakytne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions near Nikiforivka twice.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Ivanopil. Another battle was still ongoing.

The Pokrovsk sector once again became the hottest spot on the front.

Here, Russian troops attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 41 times. The attacks took place in the areas of Ivanivka, Dorozhne, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetskyi, Rodynskyi, Novooleksandrivka, as well as in the directions of Vilne, Kucherovyi Yar, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, and Serhiivka. Three more clashes remained active at the time of publication.

The General Staff also reported preliminary results of the fighting in this sector. “According to preliminary estimates, 47 occupiers were killed and 15 wounded here today; one vehicle, two artillery systems, and a fuel and lubricants depot were destroyed. Four artillery systems, three enemy vehicles, one piece of specialized equipment, one UAV command post, and 44 personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 260 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or neutralized,” the General Staff reported.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian troops launched four attacks near Kalynivka and in the direction of Verbove.

In the Huliaipil sector, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 19 attacks. Fighting took place in the directions of Dobropillia, Hirky, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Vozdvizhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipil, and Charivne.

In the Orikhiv and Dnipro sectors, no offensive actions by the Russian army were recorded on this day.

The General Staff added that there were no significant changes in the operational situation on other sections of the front. Ukrainian forces continue to repel the Russian offensive and inflict losses on the enemy in terms of personnel, equipment, and unmanned systems. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its evening update. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the Omsk Oil Refinery, located nearly 2,500 kilometers from the state border. A direct hit followed by a fire was recorded on the refinery’s premises. 

The plant specializes in the production of a wide range of fuels, lubricants, and petrochemical products. In particular, it produces high-octane automotive gasoline grades AI-92, AI-95, and G-Drive 100; Euro-5-compliant diesel fuel; and TS-1 and RT aviation kerosene. The plant also produces benzene, paraxylene, orthoxylene, raw materials for carbon black, and motor and industrial oils.
