More than 13,300 instances of Russians using chemical agents on the battlefield have been recorded
The use of prohibited chemical warfare agents against Ukrainian defenders has become a regular and systematic tactic of the Russian Federation’s occupying forces.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion, official agencies have recorded over 13,300 instances of the enemy using special chemical munitions.
A representative of the defense ministry briefed foreign colleagues in detail on the current situation and the trends in the enemy’s use of weapons of mass destruction.
According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the intensity of chemical attacks by the Russian army has shown a sharp increase in recent years.
While the aggressor previously resorted to such actions sporadically, a consistently high level of toxic substance use is now being recorded along the entire line of contact.
Given the constant CBRN—chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear—threats from the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian side called on partners from the G7 countries to significantly strengthen technical support.
