Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian drones would take part in the May 9 parade in Moscow

Zelenskyy announced that Ukrainian drones would take part in the May 9 parade in Moscow

For the first time in many years, the May 9 parade in Moscow may take place without a display of military equipment, indicating a decline in the capabilities of Russian forces compared to previous years. At the same time, it cannot be ruled out that Ukrainian drones may appear in the airspace during the event. On May 4, our drones flew over Moscow.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement at the opening of the 8th Summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan.

According to the Ukrainian leader, this summer will be the moment when Russian dictator Vladimir Putin decides what to do next—expand this war or turn to diplomatic channels.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the Kremlin leader must be pushed toward diplomacy.

“Russia has announced a parade on May 9, but there will be no military equipment at this parade. If this is indeed the case, it will be the first time in many, many years that they cannot afford to have weapons at the parade. And Ukrainian drones may also fly over this parade,” the president noted.

According to him, this demonstrates that the Russians are no longer as strong as they once were, so pressure must continue to be applied through sanctions.

As a reminder, on the night of May 4, a drone struck a building on Mosfilmovskaya Street in Moscow. Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed the attack and reported that there were no casualties.

In Tuapse, residents were urged to evacuate following a drone attack (video).

Residents of Tuapse, Russia, are increasingly complaining about the unbearable living conditions in the frontline city. Once a popular resort, it has turned into an area of environmental disaster and constant danger due to regular explosions at local industrial facilities.
