Zelenskyy: Ukraine has struck Russian oil depots and tankers belonging to the shadow fleet

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out strikes on four fuel infrastructure facilities in Russia’s Stavropol Krai and also struck three tankers belonging to Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Black Sea. According to the head of state, this is a just response to Russian attacks.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this announcement.

“We continue to respond to Russian strikes in a fully justified and precise manner. Today, Ukrainian long-range strikes hit specific targets that support and finance Russian aggression,” the head of state noted.

The head of state reported that SBU units struck three oil depots in the Stavropol region at once, while Armed Forces units struck another fuel facility in the same region.

“In the Black Sea, precision strikes were recorded against three Russian tankers belonging to the shadow fleet,” the President noted.

On the night of July 19, Russian troops launched a ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. One person was killed and eight others were wounded as a result of the attack. Damage and fires were reported in five districts of the capital.

Throughout the day on July 17, Russian forces launched strikes on Kharkiv and 29 other settlements in the Kharkiv region. Two people were killed and 18 others were injured as a result of the shelling; among the victims were five children.

Throughout the day on July 17, the Chernihiv region came under attack from enemy drones. Fires broke out in several districts at once but have already been extinguished by Ukrainian rescue workers.
