The Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the occupiers' positions in the Oleksandrivka area using HIMARS
Ukrainian forces launched a HIMARS strike against Russian occupiers’ positions in the Oleksandrivka sector. Footage showing preparations for the attack and the launch of the rockets has been shared online, and according to the video’s creators, all identified enemy targets were hit.
Ukrainian defenders used the HIMARS rocket system to strike Russian troop positions in the Oleksandrivka sector. The footage shows Ukrainian troops preparing for the strike, as well as the moment the rockets were launched from the multiple-launch rocket system. According to the video’s creators, Ukrainian forces struck positions of Russian occupiers established in forest belts. According to the report, that is where the enemy’s manpower was located.
HIMARS struck Russian positions
HIMARS is an American multiple launch rocket system that Ukraine uses to strike key targets of the Russian army. Such systems enable the Ukrainian military to strike enemy positions, depots, command posts, and other targets from a considerable distance. This time, the targets were Russian positions in the Oleksandrivka area. Ukrainian forces identified the occupiers’ locations in forest belts and launched a rocket strike against them.
The released footage shows the HIMARS crew in action and the launch of munitions toward the targets. The authors of the publication claim that all identified enemy targets were hit. However, the exact casualties among Russian forces resulting from the strike have not been reported. Ukrainian units continue to use HIMARS to strike Russian positions and other military targets on the front lines. A video of the combat operation has been posted online.
