Aselsan signs €2.46 billion air defense system procurement deals — Anadolu Agency
Turkish defense company Aselsan has signed agreements with Türkiye’s Secretariat of Defense Industries worth €2.46 billion, or $2.75 billion, for the procurement of hybrid air defense systems. Anadolu Agency reported this, citing a company statement.
Air defense system agreements
Aselsan disclosed the information about the agreements through Türkiye’s Public Disclosure Platform, KAP. The company said the new agreements would have a positive impact on its revenue.
Aselsan listed October 5, 2026, as the start date of the new business relationship. The company did not disclose the delivery schedule or detailed information about the systems covered by the agreements.

According to Aselsan’s latest disclosed financial statements, Türkiye’s Secretariat of Defense Industries accounted for 30.6% of the company’s net sales and 37.8% of its trade receivables.
Aselsan CEO Ahmet Akyol wrote on the Turkish social network NSosyal that ongoing serial production further strengthens Türkiye’s Steel Dome air defense system and enhances the protection of the country’s airspace. He also said that Türkiye is among the few states capable of independently developing air defense systems and pledged to continue work on an independent defense industry.
