Ben-Gvir announces Gotliv’s second place on Otzma Yehudit list
Knesset member Tally Gotliv will receive second place on the electoral list of the Otzma Yehudit party in the upcoming elections to Israel’s parliament. This was announced at a press conference on Friday by the party’s leader and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, The Jerusalem Post reports.
Change in list position
Initially, Gotliv was assigned the third position on the electoral list. However, Yitzhak Wasserlauf voluntarily agreed to move down one place, after which the Knesset member was promoted to the second position.

As the publication notes, a candidate’s placement among the first four positions on the party list has technical significance due to the specifics of Israel’s electoral system. After surpassing the 3.25% electoral threshold, a list may receive at least four seats in the Knesset.
Status of the Knesset member
Tally Gotliv has not officially resigned her Knesset mandate and has not left the Likud party. According to The Jerusalem Post, this allows her to continue working in parliament and retain political immunity from prosecution until the scheduled elections are held.
