Ben-Gvir backs execution of attacker in Israel — Jerusalem Post
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir said he supports the execution of a person whom he called a terrorist and the murderer of Netanel Chkrun in Neve Tzuf. The Jerusalem Post reports.
Ben-Gvir’s position
According to Ben-Gvir, defeating terrorism requires creating a strong deterrent. He called the gallows an important tool in this fight and part of an overall change in approach.
The minister also said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu supported this position.

Netanyahu’s statement
On Sunday, following a deadly shooting and an attempted vehicle-ramming near Jenin, Netanyahu said that no terrorist or people who assisted him would escape the consequences. According to him, Israeli security forces are searching for the attacker, whom the prime minister called responsible for the attack in Binyamin.
Netanyahu also said that Israel intends to hold accountable everyone involved in Gaza, Lebanon, as well as Judea and Samaria.
