Debris from a Russian missile was found off the coast of Norway
In northern Norway, near the village of Kiber, fishermen discovered debris that likely belongs to a Russian missile. They made the discovery by chance while on the coast.
According to eyewitnesses, the debris was about 1.5 meters long. The Coast Guard was called to the scene, but by the time the military arrived, the waves had already washed the debris out to sea.
The Norwegian Armed Forces noted that such finds off the coast of the Finnmark region are not unusual due to regular Russian military exercises near the Norwegian coast. At the same time, military officials warned that such debris could pose a danger due to possible traces of fuel or explosives.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gar Støre called on China to use its influence over Russia to facilitate the start of negotiations to end the war in Ukraine.
Norway will allocate approximately $306 million to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense system. In addition to financial aid, the country will participate in the development of a joint missile defense system designed to enhance the protection of Ukrainian airspace against Russian attacks.
