Wreckage from an unidentified drone was discovered off the coast of Romania
Near the village of Costinești, a tourist spotted the wreckage of a drone with several antennas in the water. Due to the suspicious object, law enforcement officers evacuated people from the area near the pier.
At the same time, the Romanian military detected an aerial target near the border with Ukraine.
Two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled to monitor the situation, and residents of the northern part of Tulcea were urged via RO-Alert to take cover.
Investigators are currently determining whether the debris found is from an aerial or maritime drone.
